Mexican professional basketball player who, in 2025, was recognized as the best Mexican basketball prospect of all time. In 2024, he took a Next Star's deal and joined the New Zealand Breakers of Australia's National Basketball League (NBL) as a forward.

He was introduced to basketball by his father, who is also a former professional player. He trained in the Joventut Badalona youth setup before joining the New Zealand Breakers as part of the NBL's Next Stars developmental program in 2024, when he was just 17 years old.

Sports media outlets like Sports Illustrated and NBA Draft Room predicted that he might become the top prospect of the entire 2026 NBA Draft.

His father, Jesús Hiram López, previously played for the Mexican national basketball team.

He has been praised as a top prospect for the 2026 NBA Draft along with fellow players including Cameron Boozer and Aj Dybantsa .
