Karl Mecklenburg

ABOUT KARL MECKLENBURG

Former NFL linebacker who appeared in three Super Bowls during his 12-year career with the Denver Broncos. He was a 6-time Pro Bowl selection and a 4-time NEA First-team All-Pro selection during his illustrious football career.

He played college football at the University of Minnesota and was drafted by the Broncos in the twelfth round of the 1983 NFL Draft.

Following his NFL career, he became a motivational speaker and founded the REACH Foundation charity.

He has three children with Kathi Mecklenburg.

He and defensive end Lyle Alzado were members of the dominant "Orange Crush" Broncos defense of the 80's.
