ABOUT KASIE WEST

Best known for her work in the young adult fiction genre. She has written a number of novels, including The Distance Between Us, On the Fence, and Split Second.

She earned her B.A. from Fresno State University. Her debut novel, Pivot Point, was published in February 2013.

Her sequel to her debut novel, Split Second, was released in February 2014. In 2013, she was nominated for two Goodreads Choice Awards for her novels The Distance Between Us and Pivot Point.

She has four children with her husband Jared.

She was nominated for the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Young Adult Fiction novel in 2013 alongside Rainbow Rowell , who ended up winning.
