Singer-songwriter who released the albums Kate Earl in 2009 and Stronger in 2012.
She began playing guitar at the age of seventeen and signed a deal with The Record Collection in 2004.
Her album Stronger was written and produced with the help of renowned Los Angeles-based musicians Brett Dennen and Blake Mills .
Her parents are Charles and Pomposa Smithson.
She and folk singer Anna Graceman are both natives of Alaska.
