First wife of The Avengers show actor Patrick Macnee who appeared in The Clue of the New Pin in 1961.

She changed her name to Kate Woodville after relocating to America.

She was on the first episode of the popular TV series The Avengers, and was also the first person killed in it.

After divorcing Patrick Macnee in 1969 she married actor Edwards Albert in 1978.

She was on an episode of Mannix, starring Mike Connors .
