ABOUT KATHERINE SABBATH

Australian teacher-turned baker who changed careers after her artistic cakes and creations amassed her a following of 470,000 on Instagram. She has since worked with big brands like CoverGirl, Frankie Magazine, Pyrex and Darrell Lea.

She holds a bachelor of arts in Education and English Literature.  She worked as an English teacher before pursuing a baking career fulltime.

In 2016 she published 'Katherine Sabbath - Greatest Hits', a pop-up cake and recipe book.

She has a brother. She is Vietnamese on her mother's side and German on her father's. She married Simon Esjay James on November 5, 2018.

In June 2018 she joined Matt Preston , Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris as a guest-judge on MasterChef Australia.
