American dancer and actress who placed third in the sixth season of the television show, So You Think You Can Dance in 2009, and also starred in Step Up Revolution in 2012.
She started dancing at 3 years old in her mother's dance studio, Dance Connection, before moving to Los Angeles when she was 18 and landing a role in the remake of Fame.
She has played a leading role in the film Step Up Revolution in 2012. In 2014 she played the role of Jasmine in Platinum the Dance Movie.
Her mother, Sandra Schmieden has worked as a dance teacher. She married Jacob Patrick in 2015, but they later separated in December 2021.
She has appeared in Christina Perri 's music video for her song "Jar of Hearts."
