ABOUT KATIE JACKSON

The daughter of legendary director Peter Jackson , she is best known for her appearances in the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit franchises.

She made her acting debut in 2001 portraying a hobbit child in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

In 2009, she brought to life Leah Fox in the Saoirse Ronan film The Lovely Bones.

Her mother, Fran Walsh , is a writer and producer. Her older brother, Billy, also appears alongside her in the Lord of the Rings films.

In 2005, she had a small role in King Kong, a film starring Adrien Brody and Naomi Watts .
