She made her acting debut on the long-running soap opera One Life to Live.

She became engaged to musician Ben Jorgensen in January 2012; they were married in 2013 until 2020. In September 2023, she got engaged to musician Adam Taylor. In Novemver 2024, they married. In May 2025, they announced they were expecting their first child together.

She made a short appearance on the show New Girl, which starred Zooey Deschanel .
