She was discovered while studying at the Orange County Song & Dance Company.

She had comedic roles in the 2009 film Fired Up! and the 2008 film Senior Skip Day.

She has two brothers and a sister. She married actor Tanner Novlan in 2015. They have a daughter together named Poppy. She previously dated Kellan Lutz . In February 2022, they announced that they were expecting their second child together, a boy due in August. She gave birth to their son Jones in June 2022.

She guest-starred on a 2012 episode of Franklin & Bash with Breckin Meyer .
