ABOUT KAYVAN NOVAK
British-Iranian television personality who co-created and starred in the comedy series Fonejacker from 2006 to 2007. His work on the series earned him a BAFTA Television Award for Best Comedy (Programme or Series) in 2008. He also co-created the series Facejacker in 2010. In 2019, he began starring as Nandor in FX's What We Do in the Shadows .
He began his career on television in 2002 when he appeared in an episode each of the shows The American Embassy, Judge John Deed, and Family Affairs. In 2004, he had a five episode stint on Hollyoaks and appeared in a couple of television movies as well.
He won the award for Best Comedy Performance in a British Film at the 2010 British Comedy Awards for his role as Waj in the movie Four Lions.
He was born in West London, England to Iranian parents.
He had a minor role in the 2005 film Syriana and played an animal supplier in the 2014 film Paddington, starring Hugh Bonneville .
