Grammy Award-winning pop and country singer and songwriter who wrote "Constant Craving" and "Miss Chatelaine." Also a philanthropist, she raised money for HIV/AIDS research and care. In 2008, she released her seventh studio album, titled Watershed.

She was inspired to pursue a career in music after listening to the songs of country legend Patsy Cline .
