ABOUT KEEGAN THOMPSON

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Chicago Cubs during the third round of the 2017 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Eugene Emeralds.

Prior to being drafted, he attended Auburn University where he was named a member of the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2014.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Cincinnati Reds on May 2, 2021.

He is a native of Cullman, Alabama.

He played alongside Kyle Hendricks as a member of the the Cubs during the 2021 MLB season.
