Actress who played Bernie's wife Wanda on the popular comedy series The Bernie Mac Show. She was also the first Lady Katherine Johnson on the sitcom The First Family in 2012. In 2014, she began playing the character Warren on the Syfy series Z Nation.

She first acted in an episode of Living Color.

She was nominated for NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in the comedy series: The Bernie Mac Show and The First Family .

She grew up with family in Chicago, Illinois, where she performed in local productions. She was born in Chicago, Illinois but raised in Oakland, California.
