ABOUT KERRY CARPENTER

Professional outfielder who was drafted by the Detroit Tigers during the 19th round of the 2019 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended Virginia Tech University for his junior season. In 2019, he was named a member of the All-ACC Academic Team.

He is a graduate of Eustis High School. After graduating, he enrolled at St. Johns River State College in Florida.

He recorded his first career major league hit facing the Cleveland Indians on August 16, 2022. His team won the game 4-3.

He grew up living with his family in Eustis, Florida. He is the youngest of two siblings.

He played against José Ramírez and Steven Kwan during his major league debut on August 10, 2022.
