Singer and poet with the Christian rock band Audio Adrenaline who has released multiple solo records, like Holy Night.

He attended Liberty University where he met future band mates of his previous band dc Talk. One of his first bands was called Connection.

He had a starring role in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

He has been married twice. His marriage to Amanda Lynn MacDonald began in 2005.

He changed his name so as not be confused with Kevin Smith .
