ABOUT KEVIN PILLAR

Speedy outfielder who got his first taste of big league action in 2013 with the Toronto Blue Jays. He was named Wilson Defensive Player of the Year in 2015, and given the Fielding Bible Award in 2016.

In college, his 54-game hitting streak set a NCAA Division II record.

His first career hit came against the New York Yankees on August 20, 2013. He joined the New York Mets in 2021.

He was born to Mike and Wendy Pillar.

He was called up to the majors when Colby Rasmus was put on the 15-day disabled list.
