Television and film actor who co-starred as Roe Saunders on the CBS crime drama Unforgettable . He played T.J. in Dallas Buyers Club in 2013. Around the same time, he appeared in 7 episodes of Breaking Bad .

At the age of twenty-one, he made his screen debut in The Apostle.

He had recurring roles on Big Love, Trauma, and Friday Night Lights. He has amassed more than 60 different acting roles throughout his ongoing career.

He was born in Louisiana, and he grew up with three older sisters. In 2010, he married Jill Farley. They have a son and a daughter together.

He acted alongside Peter Krause in five 2005 episodes of Six Feet Under.
