ABOUT KIARA ADVANI
Known for her breakout role in the 2014 Bollywood drama, Fugly, she was directed in the film by Kabir Sadanand and was cast opposite fellow Indian cinema newcomer Mohit Marwah .
Before being cast in Fugly, she briefly studied acting at performance academies run by the famous Indian actors Anupam Kher and Roshan Taneja.
Her performance in Fugly was praised by film critics of both the Bollywood Hungama and the Deccan Chronicle.
She was born into a show business family. Her great-grandfather, Ashok Kumar , and her aunt, Juhi Chawla , both had acclaimed careers as screen actors. She married Siddharth Malhotra in February of 2023.
She costarred in Fugly with Indian boxer-turned-actor Vijender Singh .
