ABOUT KIMBERLY DREW
Museum curator, social media manager, and writer who has become most well known for managing the Tumblr blog Black Contemporary Art. She has also worked as the social media manager for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and has earned more than 320,000 followers on her own Instagram account, museummammy.
She earned a B.A. in Art History and African American Studies at Smith College. While there, she interned at the Studio Museum in Harlem. Her work there would later inspire her blog, Black Contemporary Art.
In 2016, she was invited to curate the White House's Instagram account at the South by South Lawn festival.
In honor of Mother's Day 2017, she posted an Instagram photo of her mother, Marilyn, captioned "my favorite picture of this lovely, tender, supportive, demanding, all-star mom."
She has worked with countless artists and influencers, including writer and Instagrammer Tyler Ford .
