ABOUT KIRK MCCARTY

Professional southpaw that was drafted by the Cleveland Indians during the seventh round of the 2017 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball as the University of Southern Mississippi . As a sophomore and junior, he was named a member of the first-team All-Conference USA.

He is a graduate of Oak Grove High School. While there, he played baseball and football.

He is a huge fan of the NFL. In particular, he loves to watch the New Orleans Saints play.

Growing up, he lived with his parents and his four siblings in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He now lives along with his wife, Erica.

As a child growing up, he credited Derek Jeter and Brett Favre as being some of his favorite athletes.
