ABOUT KIRTI AZAD
Part of the Indian team that won the 1983 Cricket World Cup, and was later elected to Parliament on a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket.
He attended Modern School in Delhi, where he honed his cricket skills.
He came out against the Indian Premier League in 2012 after they conducted a sting operation on players in the league.
His sons Surya Azad and Somya Azad played for Delhi at the national level.
He played for Delhi in Ranji Trophy like Virender Sehwag .
