ABOUT KODY FUNDERBURK

Southpaw reliever that originally began his professional baseball career with the Minnesota Twins in 2018. A few years later, he was made one of the Twins top 100 MLB prospects. During his rookie season with Minnesota, he recorded a 0.75 earned run average in 12 innings pitched.

He initially began his collegiate baseball career at Mesa Community College. He the transferred to Dallas Baptist University .

While in college, he had dreams of pitching and hitting just like Shohei Ohtani . During his lone season at Dallas Baptist, he recorded a .313 batting average with 12 home runs.

He grew up living with his parents, Deanna and Rick Funderburk. He now lives along with his wife, Alicia.

He primarily plays the position of pitcher just like Max Fried .
