ABOUT KOKI TANAKA

Japanese idol, singer, and guitarist known for his time as a member of the multi-platinum boy band KAT-TUN. He formed the band INKT after his contract with KAT-TUN was terminated in 2013.

He joined Johnny & Associates, who would eventually manage KAT-TUN, in 1998 after his mother sent in an application.

He attended Josai International University with intentions of becoming a veterinarian, but didn't graduate.

He grew up with five brothers, some of whom are also in the entertainment industry.

He and Jin Akanishi are both former members of KAT-TUN.
