Southpaw relief pitcher that was drafted by the Detroit Tigers during the 37th round of the 2019 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Los Angeles Angels in March 2021.

He was drafted from Columbus State University. As a junior, he was named an ABCA All-American and a member of the first team All-Peach Belt Conference.

He recorded a career-low 2.67 earned run average during the 2022 minor league season. He also allowed an .186 opponent batting average.

He grew up in Columbus, Georgia. His mother's name is Kellie; he has a brother named Kody.

He was selected during the 2019 MLB Draft just like Adley Rutschman .
