He started his career on television by appearing in brief segments on networks like CNBC and NDTV. He then gained attention when he served as an analyst reporter for the BBC.
He is also known for his work in the film industry and worked on the advisory board of Cinema Capital as well as a founder of the weekly film magazine The Film Street Journal.
He is the cousin of fellow journalist and film critic Taran Adarsh.
He and Shah Rukh Khan are both founders of The Film Street Journal.
