Comedienne best known for her roles and appearances on the Emmy-winning comedy Portlandia alongside Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein .

Before her comedy career took off, she worked as a clerk in Portland, Oregon.

She has worked as a radio DJ and performed at events like South by Southwest and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

A Portland native, she has three children. In the past, she also lived in Egypt.

She was selected to appear in the 2015 documentary Welcome to Bridgetown, a film starring Patton Oswalt .
