ABOUT KUNAAL VERMAA
Indian lyricist and poet known for his songwriting in the Bollywood music industry and for his lyrics in the songs "Tum Hi Aana," "Malang," and "Humraah."
He had a passion for writing and music when he was growing up. He initially worked as a scanner and a designer. He began writing poetry and songs during this time. His writings caught the attention of several composers, and he moved to Mumbai to work in the entertainment industry and participate in the Bollywood music scene. His career breakthrough was penning the lyrics for "Hasi Ban Gaye," which was featured in the film Hamari Adhuri Kahani.
He believes conveying deep emotions in an uncomplicated manner resonates more profoundly with listeners, and his lyrics and poetry reflect this belief. He has contributed lyrics and music composition to many films including Malang, Ek Villain, and Hamari Adhuri Kahani.
He was born and raised in Sri Madhopur, India. He married Kavita Sharma in March 2021.
He worked on the Indian version of Ed Sheeran 's song "2Step" featuring Armaan Malik . He collaborated with Marshmello on the song "Biba."
