He was born in South Shields, England. He has a brother named Adam. He dated fellow reality star Holly Hagan on-and-off until 2017. On September 13, 2021, he welcomed a son named Crew Jax Christie with his girlfriend Vicky Turner.
He joined Gary Beadle as one of the cast members on Geordie Shore in 2014.
