Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in photography and film. In December 2022, he got engaged to Maddison Steiner . They announced they were expecting a child together shortly after. On June 7, 2023, they welcomed their son named Blue Theodore Houck.
