ABOUT KYLE VAN NEWKIRK
American tap dancer who won the World Championships of Tap Dance in 2015 and has become a multiple-time runner-up at the Battle of the Feet. He was featured on NBC's competitive dance show World of Dance in 2017.
He grew up in a small town in western Nebraska and began dancing at age 5.
He directed, wrote, and choreographed his own tap show called Tappin N' Time, the Past and Present of Tap.
His parents' names are Bob and Sue.
He is heavily influenced by tap legends like Gregory Hines .
