Professional outfielder that was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays during the fifth round of the 2014 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Washington Nationals via trade in July 2021.

He began his professional career playing for the Blue Jays' rookie affiliate team the GCL Blue Jays.

He made his major league debut playing against the Milwaukee Brewers on April 17, 2019 as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals .

His father, Mike, was a professional drag racer in the National Hot Rod Association circuit for several years.

He was once packaged in a trade that included Jon Lester .
