ABOUT LARRY COKER
Football coach who led the University of Miami from 2001-2006, where he was a two-time Big East Coach of the Year.
He began his coaching career in 1971 for Fairfax High School in Oklahoma, and he made his college coaching debut in 1979 as RB/QB coach for Tulsa.
In his first year as coach of Miami, the Hurricanes went undefeated en route to the National Championship.
He was born in Okemah, Oklahoma.
At Miami he coached stars such as Ed Reed .
