ABOUT LARRY HANEY

Catcher known for his well-rounded defensive game; he broke in with the Baltimore Orioles in 1966 and played the majority of his career with the Oakland A's.

He attended Orange High School in Virginia.

He played his final MLB season with the Milwaukee Brewers.

His son Chris Haney was a left-handed MLB pitcher.

Brooks Robinson , perhaps the greatest defensive third baseman of all-time, was his teammate on the Orioles.
