ABOUT LATEEF ADEDIMEJI

Actor, filmmaker, and brand ambassador best known for his prolific on-screen career, during which he has appeared in over 100 Nigerian films. He is perhaps most widely recognized for his lead role in the 2013 film Kudi Klepto, which was directed by Yewande Adekoya . He has also appeared in films such as Sugar Rush, Breaded Life, Love Castle, and Jagun Jagun.

He began his performance training at Onikan Lagos State, where he attended a studio workshop. He later studied writing and acting at a Community Life Project NGO. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in mass communication from Olabisi Onabanjo University and commence his performing career in 2007 as a dancer.

He has been nominated for several Best of Nollywood Best Actor Awards, winning 1 in the year 2018. He has also taken home several Odua Movie Awards and a City People Entertainment Award. In 2022, he was named the Best Actor in Africa at the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards.

He is originally from Abeokuta, Ogun State in southwestern Nigeria. He and 2018 City People Entertainment Award-winning actress Oyebade Adebimpe wed on December 18th, 2021.

He portrayed the titular role in the 2021 drama film
Ayinla, where he appeared opposite castmates including Adebowale Adedayo and Kunle Afolayan .
