Lathan Ransom

ABOUT LATHAN RANSOM

NFL safety and defensive back that was drafted by the Carolina Panthers as a fourth round pick in 2025. Prior to being drafted, he played college football at Ohio State University . During his five years at Ohio State, he won an NCAA national championship and he earned first team All-Big Ten honors.

He is a graduate of the Salpointe Catholic High School. Shortly after graduating, he then enrolled into Ohio State as a freshman in 2020.

He played in 57 games during his collegiate football career. To finish his career, he helped lead his team to the 2025 NCAA Championship after defeating the University of Notre Dame .

Growing up, he lived with his family in Tucson, Arizona.

He was coached by Ryan Day while at Ohio State.
