Lauren Liebenberg
ABOUT LAUREN LIEBENBERG
A South African writer, she is especially known for her 2008 debut novel, The Voluptuous Delights of Peanut Butter and Jam. The work was nominated for the prestigious Orange Prize For Fiction.
She graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with an MBA and went on to work in merchant banking.
She was one of the first three women to be nominated for the Orange Award for New Female Writers.
She grew up in Rhodesia.
She and Maya Angelou are both notable female authors.
