Television star who grew up educating children on the Nick Jr. series Signing Time!, a show dedicated to teaching young children American Sign Language. Born deaf, the show began as a method to make ASL accessible to all children.

Though they were born deaf, their parents didn't realize their deafness until they were fourteen months old. It was then that they began teaching them Signing Exact English and then American Sign Language.

In fourth grade, they garnered national attention, winning first place in their school spelling bee. He has appeared in more than 30 episodes of television throughout his on-screen career.

Their father's name is Aaron. Their mother, Rachel Coleman , is the co-creator of Signing Time! with their aunt Emilie Brown. Their younger sister, Lucy, was born prematurely, and because of her spina bifida and cerebral palsy, she was told she would never speak or sign. However, she managed to defy both counts.

Both they and Ryan Lane are successful deaf television personalities.
