ABOUT LEAH SMITH

Swimmer best known for competing in freestyle events. She was a member of the 2016 US Women's Olympic Swimming team and won a bronze and gold medal.

She swam at the University of Virginia . In 2017, she earned her bachelor's degree.

She won a gold medal in the 4 x 200 m relay at the 2016 Olympics.

She has a sister named Aileen, who currently swims for Columbia University .

In the 2017 World Aquatics Championships, she competed on the same team as her swimming colleague Simone Manuel .
