ABOUT LEI JUN

Chinese billionaire entrepreneur and philanthropist known for founding the consumer electronics company Xiaomi. He also served as CEO of Kingsoft from 1998 to 2007. He has made a number of large donations to charitable causes, including a donation of $2.2 billion in Xiaomi shares in 2021.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in computer science from Wuhan University in 1991.

Forbes named him Businessman of the Year in 2014. He promotes Xiaomi products on his leijun_xiaomi Instagram account, where he has earned more than 180,000 followers.

He and his wife Zhang Tong have two children.
