ABOUT LEIGH BROMBY
Retired defender who played with Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United. He is currently Head of Football Operations for Huddersfield Town.
He began his career as a soccer player in Sheffield Wednesday's academy. He played on their senior team in 1998 until joining Sheffield United in 2004. He retired in 2013 as a Leeds United squad member after sustaining an injury that put him out of play for a whole season.
After retiring he became a full-time coach at the Leeds United academy in 2013. He left in 2014 to work as a Professional Development Coach at Huddersfield Town. He was promoted to Head of Football Operations at the end of the 2019-2020 season.
He was brought up as a Leeds United fan.
He played with Alex Bruce on Leeds United.
