She has more than 750,000 subscribers on her main channel, also creating a secondary vlog channel called LeighAnnVlogs which has more than 50,000 subscribers. She also works as a social media advertising expert.

She performed in stage plays growing up. She was in college when she created her YouTube channel and posted her first video, "Outfit of the Day: Thanksgiving Edition," in November of 2010.

She has worked with cosmetic brands such as Maybelline and Ulta. She was a 2012 graduate of the University of Houston where she studied Consumer Science and Merchandise.

She gained some of her knowledge about makeup from her mom and sisters. She married her fiancé Grant on July 7, 2018. They welcomed their first child, a girl named Lucy, in August 2021. In May 2024, they welcomed a second child named Robin.
