ABOUT LEO GORCEY
He played tough kid Slip Mahoney in several 1948 Bowery Boys films. His gang of hooligans also appeared as the East Side Kids and the Dead End Kids.
He started acting at age 18 in the 1935 play, Dead End.
His mother was Catholic and his father was Jewish.
His parents were both very short vaudeville actors.
He worked with Henry Morgan in the movie, So This Is New York.
