ABOUT LEONARD WOOLF

Husband of author Virginia Woolf and author of works on politics and psychology, such as The Village in the Jungle and The Wise Virgins.

He served in the civil service in Sri Lanka, and married Virginia Woolf upon his return.

He ran a publishing house out of his home, which supported many future well-known authors.

He supported his wife as she suffered from mental illness.

Like the economist John Maynard Keynes , he was one of the Cambridge Apostles.
