Scottish singer best known as the singer of the popular band Bay City Rollers. They released hit songs like Bye, Bye, Baby.

He was born at the Simpson Memorial Maternity Hospital in Edinburgh and first joined the Bay City Rollers in 1973.

His struggle with alcoholism was the subject of a reality TV show in Scotland.

He has come out as bisexual and has admitted to his romantic relationship with fellow Bay City Rollers member Tam Paton.

He and bassist Alan Longmuir are former members of Bay City Rollers.
