ABOUT LESA-GAYLE WEE TOM

Former beauty queen and reality star who first became widely known for starring on the BET series College Hill and for hosting Kariblink TV. She has since become widely recognized as the author of the family and lifestyle blog Modern Mom Trendy Baby.

She studied at both Florida Atlanta University and Florida International University, eventually earning a bachelor's in mass communication.

Her first pageant title was in 2009 as Miss Florida Caribbean. She followed in 2010 by winning Miss Jamaica International and going on to represent her nation at the Miss International pageant.

Her mother, Juliet Royes, was a soap opera star, and her father, Gary Wee Tom, was an entrepreneur. She grew up with five siblings. She and her husband, Richard Hall, later had two sons, Maximilian and Sebastian.

During her youth, she was close friends with Olympic runner Usain Bolt .
