Social star recognized as the mother of former Dance Moms sensation Payton Ackerman . She appeared with her daughter on the popular Lifetime series.
She began taking her daughters to the Abby Lee Dance Company in 2007, making a two hour drive there for each lesson.
The Ackerman family has run the Pittsburgh based Luma restaurant. She also appeared as a diner in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares .
A mother of three, she has two daughters, Taylor and Payton, and one son, Connor.
On Dance Moms, she was often seen fighting with fellow star Christi Lukasiak .
