Levi Onwuzurike

ABOUT LEVI ONWUZURIKE

NFL defensive tackle that was originally taken as a second-round pick in the 2021 Draft by the Detroit Lions . Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of Washington . While at Washington, he twice earned PAC 12 All-Academic Team honors.

He is a graduate of Allen High School. Following his senior season, he was named the Dallas Morning News All-Area Defensive Player of the Year.

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Green Bay Packers during week two of the 2021 regular season. He recorded two tackles in a 35-17 Lions loss. He has amassed over 10,000 followers on Instagram.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Allen, Texas area. He was born of Nigerian descent.

He attended the same high school as NFL quarterback Kyler Murray .
