ABOUT LEWIS SPENCE

Former journalist and poet who found greater success as a compiler of Scottish folklore and the occult during his lengthy career.

He matriculated from Edinburgh University, where he developed a long-standing interest in Journalism.

He was the principal founder of the Scottish National Movement, which later merged with another organization to become the Scottish National Party.

He was born and raised in Angus, Scotland. And he married Helen Bruce 1899.

He and Jean Valentine are both prominent poets with roots in New York.
