Professional defenseman that was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning during the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He was acquired by the New York Rangers via trade in February 2018.

He began his professional career playing for HC Kometa Brno in the Czech Republic.

He made his official NHL debut in 2018.

He is a native of Smrček, Czech Republic.

He has played alongside Chris Kreider as a member of the Rangers during the 2022 NHL season.
